This Privacy Policy explains how Nextro (“Nextro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites at nextro.app, our application at app.nextro.app, and related services (together, the “Service”).

Who we are

Nextro is a software service that helps you connect a Notion workspace, create named email inboxes (addresses on in.nextro.app), map email fields to Notion properties, and deliver message content and attachments into databases you choose.

Information we collect

Account and billing

When you create an account, we may collect:

• Name, email address, and login credentials (or auth provider identifiers)
• Billing details and payment status processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers)
• Subscription plan and related account preferences

Notion connection

If you connect Notion, we receive tokens and permissions you grant so we can access the workspaces and databases you share with Nextro. We use that access only to provide the Service (for example, creating pages or rows and writing mapped properties, page content, and attachments).

Email content you send to Nextro

When someone sends or forwards email to a Nextro inbox address, we process message metadata and content needed to deliver it to Notion, which may include sender and recipient addresses, subject, body, headers relevant to delivery, and attachments. That content is handled to perform the Service you configured, not to sell personal data or build advertising profiles.

Usage and technical data

We may collect:

• Log data (IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, referring URLs)
• Product usage events (for example, inbox creation, connection status, delivery success or failure)
• Cookies or similar technologies needed for authentication, security, and basic preferences

How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate users and secure accounts
• Process email into your connected Notion databases as configured
• Process payments and subscriptions
• Send service-related messages (security, billing, product notices)
• Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and debug issues
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the content of emails you route through Nextro to train third-party foundation models for unrelated purposes.

When we share information

We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, email infrastructure, analytics, customer support, payment processing), under obligations to protect data
• Notion, when you connect a workspace. Content is written according to your configuration and Notion’s terms and privacy practices
• Professional advisors or authorities when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security
• A successor entity, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (you will be notified of material changes where required)

Retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Email content and delivery artifacts are retained only as long as needed to provide the Service, troubleshoot delivery, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized according to our operational practices. You can disconnect Notion or delete inboxes in the product; contact us to request account deletion.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk with that understanding.

International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. If you access the Service from outside those locations, you understand information may be transferred to and processed in those countries.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email hello@nextro.app. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also disconnect Notion integrations and cancel your subscription in the product or by contacting us.

If we use non-essential analytics cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and provide choices where required.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with Notion and may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
